Rotate a ToolBook Object to Any Angle
Have you ever wanted to rotate an object to any angle and not just flip
it or just rotate left/right? Well this is the tool for you.
Using this Developer's Exchange Tool you can easily
rotate ToolBook objects.
How Does This FreeBee Work?
ToolBook allows unrestricted values for the following objects'
line, angledline, curve, polygon and irregularPolygon.
This routine fully rotates the above list of objects. Also, it will
allow you to select a group. If the group contains any of objects listed
above then they are fully rotated, all other objects in the group are
oriented along a 90 degree axis. This routine just moves these objects
around the center without rotating their vertices.
How Can This FreeBee Be Used?
You can use this FreeBee in your own development of ToolBook projects.
You cannot give away or sell this FreeBee to others. If you want
others to be able to use the FreeBee, please direct them to this site to
register for the FreeBee Newsletter and access to all of the FreeBees.
How Does the FreeBee Work During
You can not run this Developer's Exchange Tool from here or directly
off your hard drive. However, you do need a copy of the tool on your hard
drive as the tool is not in the available list when the "Remote Developer's
Exchange Tools" is selected. Therefore you need to download it
and install it into your Developer Exchange Tools directory. Note that
there is no official DevEx directory, I put all of my Developer Exchange
Tools in a
folder called DevEx:-)
At author level, you simply open up the Rotate via
the Developer's Exchange Tools, select the Tools menu, then select
Developer's Exchange Tools. Once the Rotate tool is open select the object
that you wish to rotate. If the object is on the background you will need
to be on the background before you open the Rotate tool:-)
