Services
I work with companies and independent developers on all kinds of
projects. I typically work on short, focused projects with specific
targeted objectives. However, depending on my existing work
commitments I am available to work on long term, more comprehensive
projects.
Why do I need a consultant when I can do it myself? Below are some examples of the types of projects I work on. DLL Updates for v 9.0

Programming Development
If you need assistance starting or finishing a project or just some extra
hands in the middle of a project, I can help. I have done a great deal
of development work for the Australian Army and other organizations that has
included extensive ToolBook programming, integration with MS Agent, virtual
reality, and interface/graphic design.
Templates and Custom Widgets
If you are tired of doing the same thing again and again, perhaps you
need a template or a custom widget that will give you the functionality you
need but it will be prebuilt into your project. Depending on what it
is that you are trying to accomplish, the best approach may be a catalog
object, a template book, or a system book. I can help you figure out
the best approach and then build that functionality for you.
Mentoring/Training
I have actually done mentoring/training very effectively by phone and
e-mail, but I can also do it on-site (keep in mind that I am located in
Sydney in Australia:-) One thing that has been helpful to my clients
is a review of an existing project and recommendations on how it could be
improved. Most people are amazed at how much smaller and simpler their
books can be. I am able to use an existing project to teach developers
more effective ways of achieving similar (if not better :-) results with
less time, effort, and opportunities for mistakes.
Toolbook Troubleshooting
If you are having a problem with a book and you are not sure of where to
turn to resolve the issue, I might be able to help you out.
